Peculiarities that are hard to find anywhere else in its likeness - the Atacama with its stretches that haven't seen a drop of rain in more than 400 years, the Ojos del Salado the second-highest peak in South America, more than 50 active volcanoes and the Land of Fire at the end of the world. Hundreds of monuments, many with a pedigree of nearly a thousand years, the cradle of Inca civilization, breathtaking views and. Machu Picchu. That's what two of South America's most beautiful countries - Chile and Peru - are.
Organized over the course of 19 days, a tourist adventure amidst the majestic peaks of the Andes, with a stop at Machu Picchu, a drive through the Sacred Valley of the Incas, street food in Cuzco, a walrus swim in Titicaca, a cruise on the Uros, a look at the Nazca geoglyphs, a photo shoot in the Colca Canyon, meditation at the Monastery of Saint Catherine in Arequipa, in direct contact with nature and Andean culture.
WHAT IS THIS OFFER, WHO IS THE TRIP FOR?
It is a tourist trip, by definition aimed at getting to know the country, interesting places and local culture. There are no elements of stunt in the event, including rivalry and competition. Participants travel in a group, spend time in a group and support each other. The route was developed for enduro touring motorcycles (BMW 1200, Honda Africa Twin, etc.), a the adopted formula assumes the transportation of participants' motorcycles from/to Europe. Addressed to lovers of group travel expeditions (expeditions without luxury, with a certain degree of unpredictability, but with a controlled margin of risk), lovers of diverse landscapes, varied nature and weather, remnants of ancient culture and architecture, in their opinion - an offer for all who want to spend several days of exciting expedition in the western part of South America, in the heart of the Inca civilization. Scheduled in the favorable tourist - for this destination - period of October, will allow to take advantage of the most favorable weather conditions to spend time, collect beautiful memories, photo and video reports.
Why Chile and Peru?
It is Chile and Peru that are today the most popular tourist destinations lying in Latin America. Both offer an array of attractions from the Amazon rainforest, to the partially wild Pacific coast, wilderness, deserts and the beautiful peaks of the Andes. The former part of the Inca empire, conquered successively by the Spaniards from 1540 onward, is, in addition to its incredibly diverse and still pristine nature, also an area of priceless historical treasures.
We will start in Santiago de Chile, where we will arrive from Europe most likely in the afternoon. From there, we'll acclimatize in San Antonio, and spend the next day juz with motorcycles and assisted by local chaperones. Traversing the designated route north towards Peru, we will hook up with the regions main attractions (read PROGRAM POINTS below). Nineteen days of approximately 5300 kilometers, with daily distances of 80-520 kilometers and a host of scheduled attractions will allow us to make a truly traveling exploration of this most attractive part of Latin America. We'll end in Arica, Chile, from where, after a relaxing beach break, we'll take a flight back to Europe on the 19th. Participants' motorcycles will be transported in both directions, and the logistical operation was planned so as to absorb us in the smallest possible time. Arrival in Santiago de Chile. Transfer to the hotel in San Antonio. Rest day after a long flight and acclimatize. The following day we will pick up motorcycles and cars.

In the morning we pick up our motorcycles and hit the road. There will be mountains and the Pacific. The Pacific always on the left. Mountains variously. This will be our first encounter with the Andes, here dry, crisscrossed by valleys where vines are grown. We will also see typical Chilean fishing towns, We will eat the first famous empanadas. In the afternoon, we will arrive at a beautiful farm nestled among the vines, where we will stay for the night.

We will learn the charms of moving across South America on the famous Panamericana. There will be mountainous serpentines, and in the afternoon we will reach the outskirts of the Atacama Desert. We'll pass through Domeyko, a town named after Ignatius Domeyko, a Polish engineer who was active in this part of the continent. We'll see some famous astronomical observatories from afar - this part of the Andes has exceptionally good weather, with as many as 350 days of sunshine a year and starry nights. Most of the serious astronomical observatories are located here. We will also stop at several charming fishing ports, where you can still see the colorful little boats of fishermen going out every night to fish (such as Huasco).

Today will be very hot. We are passing through the driest desert in the world - the Atacama Desert. We will stay as close to the Pacific Ocean as possible - the sea breeze gives respite. We will see the famous "Hand of the Desert".

We will start the day with a visit to La Portada, a picturesque rocky arch off the coast of Antofagasta. We will continue north along the Pacific Ocean. Along the way we will have a delicious lunch prepared from fresh catches. In the afternoon we'll see what the great sand dunes, where the fate of the Dakar Rally has been played out several times, look like.

A day of so-called ghost towns. Extinct mining towns. Skeletons in the middle of the desert make a poignant impression. We will visit the most famous one - Humberstone and, in our opinion, the most interesting... Surprise. In the afternoon we will reach the climatic coastal town of Arica. Where we will be able to relax on the beach.

We enter Peru and into the Andes again. The serious altitudes and winding roads will begin. In the afternoon we'll reach Arequipa, a beautiful colonial city located at the base of two volcanoes. We will visit the St. Catherine's Convent and the old town.

Ahead of us is the first day of riding entirely on mountain roads and at altitude. It will be beautiful, scenic and very winding. In the afternoon we will reach the area of the famous Colca Canyon, considered the deepest in the world.

In the morning we will look out for condors, gliding here over the World's Deepest Canyon - Colca. We will then head to Lake Titicaca, where we will take boats to the Uros Islands in the afternoon.

The Sacred Valley of the Incas and Pisac is definitely one of those places in Peru that cannot be missed. Of course, we will visit them all. We leave the fort at Ollantaytambo for dessert. We will spend the night in a picturesque Peruvian hacienda.

We leave the motorcycles at the hotel and take the train to Aguas Calientes, the base camp for Macchu Picchu, and then take the bus to Macchu Picchu. It will be an unforgettable day among the world's most famous ruins! In the evening we will take the train down to the hotel.

A continuation of the mountain roller coaster. Winding like snakes roads, majestic Andes - that is what motorcyclists love most. We will have lunch in Abancay - a beautiful colonial town. From there, we'll head toward the Pacific. But we still have several thousand meters to ride down!
