Introduction

Phenomenal Norway - for several years at the top of the ranking of the happiest countries in the world, increasingly referred to as "Scandinavian paradise", and located almost in our neighborhood. A little over 5.3 million citizens scattered over 385,000 square kilometers of the rocky and fjord-scarred part of the Scandinavian peninsula, between endless stretches of rugged terrain, but amid landscapes considered among the most beautiful in the world, lead their paradisiacal lives. Norway is full of unique places and spectacular scenic knockoffs that bring together into an amazing whole defined and enriched with architectural amenities the so-called national panoramic tourist routes of Norway. 2136 km of stunning views and safe asphalt, 18 marked sections throughout Norway and as many as 10 of them in our program "MOTOCYCLES through the 10 most beautiful routes of Norway"....

For many it is an expedition to rugged Norway, for most it is rather a well-organized tourist trip, programmatically polarized to ride the most beautiful panoramic routes, visit several UNESCO sites, active recreation and time spent in company... 12 days of riding with a motorcycle group, carefully prepared route, on small daily distances, under the supervision of an experienced pilot, with accommodation mainly in hotels, occasionally in comfortable motorhomes, with feasts at the table. The main goal of the tour: 10 panoramic routes, the largest glacier, the most beautiful fjords, the oldest cities and UNESCO monuments.

Chill for those who have already conquered North Cape Nordkapp, and a little warm-up for those who plan to...

UPDATE

WHAT AND FOR WHOM IS THE TRIP?

Motorcycle tour of varying intensity, touring exploration combined with stationary and active rest in the southern part and perhaps the most beautiful part of Norway... Early breakfast, departure at 8:30, a prescribed drive following the pilot, all around dazzling here and there the tongues of glaciers, rumbling waterfalls, rushing rivers, cliffs, islands, rocks, farmland, wildlife, tens of kilometers of quality roads and hundreds of turns in one day, on the way a hot dog, a dry roll, canned food, water from a stream, coffee brewed in the open air, sometimes a walk from the parking lot to a place on the MUST SEE list, an evening at the hotel bar with a mega-expensive beer.... That's what this trip is.

A motorcycle expedition for tourists rather than surprise-hungry travelers - well planned, prepared, organized, carried out in a small group of participants, above all safely, under the care of an experienced pilot. For everyone who enjoys spending time with more than just themselves, rides at least an average motorcycle and doesn't complain when it rains 😛

WHAT IS THE PLAN IN A NUTSHELL?

We start and end the group organization in Gdansk, at the ferry port PŻB Polferries. We sail From Gdansk on Friday around 18:00 by ferry to Nynäshamn, Sweden, meeting 2 hours earlier for a briefing with the Pilot. The cruise takes about 18 hours. From Nynäshamn less than 2 long days transit to Norway and the place of the conventional beginning of our adventure - Trondheim the Viking city. The next 9 days are a true paradise for the soul and ubiquitous idyllic landscapes. On the road, the plan included the very gems of southwestern Norway: Atlantic Road, Trollstigen, Andalsnes, Geirangerfiord, Jostedalsbreen Glacier and National Park, 10 of Norway's 18 government-designated panoramic routes, the world's longest road tunnel, the world's longest underwater tunnel, Bergen, Stavanger. The view from the top of the narrow and steep highway (with gradients reaching 12% in places) with eleven very sharp turns into a very ladder-like road. It begins with a gentle climb deep into the Isterdalen valley, then turns into an acrobatic traverse leading to the Alnesreset Pass at 852 meters above sea level. From here the gentle descent begins again to the village of Valldal on Nordfjord. Halfway down the route we will stop next to a small bridge to admire the magnificent Stigfossen waterfall falling from a height of 180 meters with a big bang. Bathing under the waterfall in full dress is a tradition with us....

If time and weather permit we will drive one of Norway's 18 national panoramic routes - the so-called Old Strynefjell Mountain Road, the road goes along the glacier and Jostedalsbreen National Park, to the village of Stryn, in the vicinity of which we stay for the next 2 nights.

The village of Loen is home to a gondola lift station. From here, there are several attractions in the skies almost literally - one such is the ZIP LINE LOEN, or VIA FERRATA LOEN. For a several-kilometer walk under the tongue of Europe's largest continental glacier Jostedalsbreen The best way to go is from under Briksdalsbre Mountain Lodge.

In the late afternoon or even in the evening we will reach the area around the village of Tyssedal, from where the 20km road to the Trollia Tongue climbs. Only half is possible with our motorcycles, as long as we can find a spot at the highest and closest to the scenery of instagram photos, a parking lot. This night will be a short one for anyone planning a 20km walk to the Troll's Tongue on the following day.

NORWAY: Tyssedal and surroundings

Trasa approx. 10-260 km

A day off for the weary, a day of trekking to the Troll's Tongue for the tireless, a day of rides in the countryside for the rest with an option to the Gate of the Fjords - beautiful Bergen.

There is something for everyone today and to suit your needs and even your abilities. Unfortunately, this is the one and only day in our program when, in order to reach the tongue, you have to get up at 5am at the latest and set off without breakfast, with provisions and equipment prepared yesterday, on the way to Trolltunga. From the last P3 parking lot it's only a 10km walk up and another 10km down, but it's worth it!

The Hardanger National Tourist Route is also worth starting early. This is an ideal route for waterfall and fruit orchard enthusiasts. Part of the road leads along a steep valley, only to cross orchards with apple trees in a short while. Fruit has been grown here since the 14th century. Around the Hardanger Fjord located large waterfalls: Steinsdalsfossen, Voringsfossen, Skjervefossen, Latefoss and Furebergfossen. The actual panoramic route has a total of 158 km and is divided into 4 stages: Granvin - Steinsdalsfossen (route 7), Norheimsund - Torvikbygd (route 49), Jondal - Utne (route 550) and Kinsarvik - Latefoss (route 13). Ferry services operate between Torvikbygd - Jondal, Utne - Kinsarvik, Utne - Kvanndal.

The trip to Bergen can be a little later, and a day of lazing around doesn't require any discipline at all.

Most of the route is one of 18 national panoramic routes called Ryfylke National Tourist Route. On the way, several attractions - a phenomenal waterfall with two streams joining in its light and an old wooden bridge. A great scenery for shot photos.

We'll also drive through the world's longest (at 14.4km long) underwater tunnel, entering almost to Stavanger. Here we stay for two more nights, as the area still has a lot of wonders to offer.
