SWISS ALPINE by motorcycle - a small tour on the GRAND TOUR

It is located in one of the most mountainous areas in the world, uplifted more than 70 percent by the Alps and the Jura range, with peaks rising more than 4,000 meters above sea level . with thousands of kilometers of beautiful panoramic routes. On top of that, it is a kingdom of direct democracy, divided into 26 autonomous cantons, militarily neutral for more than 200 years, with four officially functioning languages, with centuries-old traces of influence from its great neighbors and an impressive but rather peculiar culture of its own. Switzerland, because a few words about it, associated with watches, chocolate, pocket knives and sky-high prices... thoroughly put together, with fabulous landscapes and excellent tourist infrastructure - is, above all, the ideal destination for a once-in-a-lifetime trip that is a must! 

The tour is not only scenic and not only for lovers of space, diverse nature, stunning mountain panoramas and thrilling motorcycle riding. It's a cross-country tour, also for lovers of history, European culture and exceptional cuisine, and perhaps most of all for supporters of diversified travel and good company... dedicated to active motorcyclists with a strong inclination for cognitive tourism, who place equal importance on the need for exciting riding in all conditions and spending time on land in good company. A tour for a group of 7-10 motorcycles, transiting the highways of Germany, a little over 7 days in the Swiss Alps, largely in the footsteps of the famous Grand Tour of Switzerland, with a total length of 1,643 km, leading through four linguistic regions, five Alpine passes, eleven UNESCO World Heritage sites, two biospheres and along 22 lakes....

WHAT IS THE PROPOSAL AND FOR WHOM?

Switzerland to motorcyclists is associated with the icing on the alpine cake - and so it is in reality. The candy-colored images of mountain villages among which the path of an asphalt road winds, crisscrossed by mountain streams resemble more a model railroad than an authentic landscape. Pedantically manicured farmyards, caramel-colored cows grazing everywhere and snow-capped mountain peaks complete this idyllic picture.

Switzerland is a place where you don't look for beautiful, postcard-perfect shots - every stop causes a natural urge to take out your camera and snap endlessly, and the friendly infrastructure encourages frequent breaks and long contemplations of this beautiful country.

This trip is intended to let us get carried away by this magnificent nature, feel its closeness and uniqueness. It is also intended to introduce us, at least in part, to the interesting culture and history of the Helvetians, and to give us an up-close feel for the climate of Switzerland - so different because it is snowy on the mountain peaks, sun-drenched and surrounded by palm trees on the beach in Lugano.

A proposal suitable for all who find in themselves the spirit and fierceness of a tourist disregarding the weather conditions, for all who dream of distant travels, but do not have the necessary experience and time to organize such a trip. WHAT IS THE PLAN IN A NUTSHELL?

We begin our expedition in Wroclaw, from where we take the expressways to Lindau, located on the German shore of Lake Constance, which will de facto be the starting point of our trip. From there we will embark on a 7-day journey through an idyllic land of mountains, streams, meadows, cows and breathtaking views, along the way taking the most interesting routes, the best passes, showing you the charms of selected Swiss towns, their history and culinary traditions. After 7 exceptional days and a loop around Switzerland, we will spend the last night in Stuttgart, where "for dessert" most of us will certainly want to visit the legendary Porsche museum. From there, on the last day, we will head to Poland and our wonderful adventure with Switzerland will come to an end.
