USA CALIFORNIA WEST COAST with Route 66 - a motorcycle trip accompanied by a maxi-VAN

Flying out of Poland on Friday  with landing in Los Angeles on the same day (probably it will be a direct flight WAW-LAX, departure 16:45, landing 20:00, flight time 12h15m). On the ground in Los Angeles we will be picked up by a substituted MINIBUS and taken straight to the hotel located in West Covina. The participants' means of travel - motorcycles and 4×4 SUV family cars - will be delivered to the same hotel, and the prepared formal documentation of the rental will take a minimal amount of time.

We need to acclimatize and deal with the Jet Lag effect, although the direction of travel (from east to west) should not give us a hard time. Nonetheless, we will start the day unhurriedly around 11:00 am with a gathering at the hotel grounds and an organizational briefing combined with the formalities of renting our vehicles (we are going down individually for breakfast today.and as needed). Yesterday we did not have the opportunity to greet the participants in a manner appropriate to the stature of our trip, so we will make up for it immediately by inviting everyone to a joint welcome dinner at a nearby restaurant. Of course, we will go to the place prepared with our machines. After lunch, we will take rides around the area, combined with an optional tour of Los Angeles - optionally, by not taking the tour we are not losing anything, as another opportunity will arise on the last day of our trip, which we will spend again in and around this city.

The highlight of our program today is Joshua Tree National Park, which owes its name to the Joshua Tree plant - a yucca also called Joshua Tree, although it is not a tree at all. The park is full of beautiful rock formations and desert plants. We drive around the park in our vehicles, reaching some of its most beautiful places (Covington Flats, Keys View, Skull Rock, Wall Street Mill, Arch Rock, or Cottonwood Spring). And we will spend about 3-4 hours here. There is a fee to enter the park.

From here, on our way to Grand Canyon, we will head to Topoc, Arizona, a town surrounded by lakes and on the edge of the Havasu Wildlife Reserve, for an overnight stay.

We take off after breakfast, no later than 8:30 a.m. The highlight of the day and one of the two main points of the program will be a section of historic Route 66. The most famous road in the world, the Mother of All Roads, a symbol of the United States, immortalized in movies and literature, totaling almost 4,000.km and 80 years of existence, built to connect Los Angeles with Chocago... We will show it to you in several places, with a short stop in Seligman itself to see how time stopped there, take some cool photos for family albums and more.

The second half of the day and its end will be spent admiring the panoramas of one of the oldest National Parks in the USA - Grand Canyon National Park (Grand Canyon National Park), includes the Grand Canyon of the Colorado River Gorge, considered one of the natural wonders of the world. The area of the park is home to about 355 species of birds, 89 species of mammals, 47 species of reptiles, 9 species of amphibians, 17 species of fish.... You'll see how the Grand Canyon is truly grand, and the spectacular sunrises and sunsets gracing hundreds of travel magazine covers, calendars and advertising brochures around the world can be truly stunning.

It is within the Park's boundaries that we are planning today's accommodation for.

We leave for the road at 8:30 a.m. We don't waste any time - a little more of Grand Canyon National Park in the morning and move further north. The destination is Monument Valley (Monument Valley, Valley of the Rocks) - the border of the states of Utah and Arizona, entirely on the Navaho Indian Reservation, one of the most majestic and most photographed tourist destinations in the United States. As actor John Wayne used to say, "If you haven't been to the Monument ValleyYou don't know what the Wild West looks like." A big attraction is the opportunity to ride around the valley in jeeps with Navaho guides. We plan to spend the night in the Tonalea area.

At the end of the day, if there is enough time and strength, there is one more attraction - Mexican Hat Rock - a rock formation, in the form of more than 18 meters high flat fragment of sedimentary rock set on a rock of red sandstone, resembling a Mexican hat.

It is customary to take off right after breakfast, no later than 8:30 a.m. A few kilometers of the route, where the gem will be the time spent in Antelope Canyon on the Navaho Indian Reservation (www.navajonationparks.org). The slot canyon was formed here over millions of years due to the leaching of sandstone by flash floods. Two parts with different architecture - Lower Canyon and Higher Canyon - both parts of the canyon are beautiful and different. Upper Antelope Canyon, referred to by the Indians as "the place where the water runs through the rocks," is the most visited because of the spectacular views involving rays of sunlight coming through cracks from the upper parts of the canyon, and the easy accessibility without overcoming a change in level. Always crowded, we will rather skip it (although perhaps individualists will decide otherwise). We will choose the Lower Canyon - smaller (narrow), twice as long and more geologically varied, lower than the Upper Canyon and thus better exposed. The ideal time to visit it is between March 15 and October 7, when sunlight enters the canyon almost perpendicularly. The best time of day for exploration - noon itself. Exploring the canyon is only possible with a guide due to the risk of sudden floods and it is a good idea to make reservations in advance.

We are going to Las Vegas!!!

And there from color to choose from... There is something for everyone: High Roller, Wynn Las Vegas Casino, Forum Shops at Caesars Palace, Madame Tussauds Museum, The National Atomic Testing Museum. In the immediate vicinity, meanwhile: Hoover Dam Bypass, Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, or perhaps Gold Strike Canyon Hot Springs.

We are staying in Las Vegas. Choose from the city's many attractions for the city-dwellers, and for those who love to spend time outside and crave nature, the nearby Hoover Dam, or a trip to Death Valley.

A day of relaxation and rest, without a rigid program. Participants select themselves into circles of common interests and, using (if necessary) our help, organize their own time.

Quite a distance for today... We leave early in the morning, right after breakfast and no later than 8:00 a.m. The highlight of the day will be the drive in front of DETH VALLEY (Death Valley), especially for those who were not here yesterday. We'll stop by the Indian Village for a while, visiting the Borax Museum Furnace Creek (local history museum), drive up to a viewpoint called Zabriskie Point (GPS: 36.420208, -116.811321) and a little further on - Dante's View (GPS: 36.220657, -116.726429). Driving along Route 190 further to the southwest, we will stop at Stovepipe Wells Ranger Station and take a commemorative photo, enter the saloon for a drink (http://www.ohranger.com/death-valley/poi/stovepipe-wells-ranger-station).

We end the day on the outskirts of Yosemite National Park, in the village of Mammoth Lakes.

8:30 a.m. customary after breakfast and already on the road. First highlight of the day: US National Park on the western slopes of the Sierra Nevada - Yosemite. Great rock walls with tumbling waterfalls... Yosemite is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and fans of the Apple brand are sure to associate its main hills, which were the motifs on the wallpapers of the company's computers. Places worth visiting (some of which are sure to be included in our photographs of the trip): Tunnel View, Glacier Point, Mirror Lake, or Yosemite Falls, Bridalveil Falls, Vernal Falls and Nevada Fall. Nearby grows a huge Sequoia named Grizzly Giant....

If it turns out that one sequoia is not enough, and there are many amateurs of long-distance travel in groups, we can optionally extend the route that day by moving south to Sequoia National Park, where you will be able to admire the real forest of these giant trees. However, it should be taken into account that in this case we will speed up the morning departure from the hotel considerably, and there will be an additional 250km to cover, which also means that an additional 4 hours will be necessary. The day will be really long....

We end the day near the town of Monteca, located about halfway between Yosemite and San Francisco.

Only about 100 km separates us from the attractions: Alcatraz (a must for visitors to this city and, we hope, for most of the participants of our trip as well), the Golden Gate Bridge, Twin Peaks, or the characteristic weather phenomenon Fog of San Francisco.

We arrive before noon and free time, without a rigid program. Participants select themselves into "circles of common interest" and, using (if necessary) our help, organize their own time.

Big Sur - this is where the highest range of coastal mountains in the entire United States (Sierra Nevada) stretches. Overgrown with rare vegetation, the hills, rising above 1570 meters above sea level, paint breathtaking landscapes and attract millions of tourists every year. Driving along California's legendary Highway No. 1 (Highway 1) along the Pacific coast is the best way to visit Big Sur. All we'll need is good weather and perfect visibility so that we don't miss anything of the surrounding landscapes.

The drive today will end somewhere halfway to Los Angeles, most likely in or near the town of Gorda.

Back to Los Angeles. On the way there will be a few more viewpoints over the Pacific, probably shared coffee stops. We'll choose one of two options - drive all the way along the Pacific coast on California Highway No. 1, or deviate just before the town of Santa Maria to take Route 166 and then Route 33 through Los Padres National Forest. In either case, the distance is similar and the views completely different.

A day on Los Angeles for the second time. A day free and to be freely managed by the participants. Here a lot of attractions and we still have at our disposal for most of the day our hired transportation. There is something for everyone, and the list of interesting places is quite large: The Getty Center, Griffith Observatory, Universal Studios Hollywood, Petersen Automotive Museum, TCL Chinese Theatres, The Japanese Garden, shopping at The Grove, entertainment at The Wizarding World Of Harry Potter.

In the evening we invite everyone to an organized farewell dinner, where we will sum up our trip, share our impressions and say goodbye. On the following day we will return.

Return Departure on Friday With landing in Warsaw on Saturday (departure from LAX 16:45, landing in WAW 13:20 +1d, flight time 11h35m).

In the morning, a mobile rental company will drive up to the hotel and pick up the rented motorcycles and cars from us. We will be taken by a substituted MINIBUS to the airport, from where we will return to the country.
