Introduction

The region is not only the Bieszczady Mountains - although still wild, beautiful and picturesque are its calling card! Above all, it is quite a large area, covering nearly 18,000 square kilometers on the map of Poland in its southeastern part, one of the most interesting, varied and saturated with monuments in the country. The modern panorama - with cultural values incomparable to other parts of Poland - shaped by a wide strip of borderland, with a melting pot of historical turmoil and centuries of coexistence of several ethnic groups, whose history and coexistence is a cultural legacy not found anywhere else on this scale.

A multi-day tour for motorcycle owners, true touring enthusiasts and lovers of balanced comfort all in one... 5 days in good company, 4 nights, 4 long evenings and 4 late mornings in the unique scenery and cultural richness of the Subcarpathian region - castles, palaces, treasures of wooden architecture, UNESCO-listed sites, local guides, local cuisine and many little details that cannot be mentioned in a nutshell....

Description

What does the open date of the event mean?

The actual date of the event will be determined within the given periods of organization and after the group of declared participants is completed in the indicated minimum number. In order to become a declared participant, you must agree to this open date formula by making a reservation (paying the reservation fee and signing the travel event contract). After the completion of the tour group for the open date of the event designated between May and September, when conditions for motorcycle touring are ideal, we set the exact date and details of the trip with the target group.

At what time will the group be completed and what if it is not completed?

The designated time to complete the departure group: From the date of publication of this offer until 9.09.2021. During this period, a tour group may be completed on a continuous basis with the indication of the last possible date of implementation in the calendar year 2021, i.e. in September. If the group is not completed by 9.09.2020, the declared participants are notified of this fact, contracts may be terminated (with the effect of immediate return of payments made without deductions), or annexed with the consent of the declared participant to another tourist event on offer.

If the group is completed, the declared participants are informed along with the possible date (or dates) of implementation. The appointment is made 4 weeks in advance.

Who is the trip for?

For all motorcycle owners who need something more than just a ride ahead... Let's get to know our country together in a touring, social formula and almost like we do by leading you through the most beautiful places in Europe, marking our trips with hashtags: #terazpolska #polskanaweekend #popznajswojkraj #polskajestpiekna

What does the tour consist of?

Group, dynamic motorcycle tour combined with sightseeing, dedicated - due to its formula - to all owners of motorized unicycles (as well as "non-owners", but definite lessees using the offers of rental companies), looking for proposals for not too long, full of attractions, efficiently organized social trips with a clear tinge of tourism. Destination (Podkarpacie) and a program of less than five days of sightseeing tours. A proposal perfect for both beginners and advanced, traveling alone and with a passenger. Families and groups of friends are welcome, for whom a well-organized and guided "outing" will allow for a truly deep relaxation, and in the company of loved ones will certainly intensify the positive experience. This is definitely not a budget trip, not for those who only want to ride a motorcycle - we rather reside in hotels, eat not in fast food, do not avoid tips, take the opportunity to visit sites with licensed guides, ride not to just ride, but to get there and get to know the place up close... We also go to loosen up a bit, though always with reason and full culture.

Where do we start when completing a group?

We meet on Wednesday morning at a contractual place on the A1 highway near Lodz (we will give the place to the participants).

Many of us will be traveling from remote regions of the country, so we assume the possibility of joining the group on the route set for the first day. Stopping places and exact times will be given to participants.

What does the plan look like in a nutshell?

Tourist rides in the Subcarpathian Voivodeship are scheduled for almost 5 days (Wednesday-Sunday) and flexibly adapted to time possibilities and weather conditions. We start on Wednesday morning, moving from point to point of the program. The tour program includes the places proposed in the list of Main Points of the Program (read below). Participants ride in a group led by a pilot (TL), the group stops at the places of tourist attractions included in the itinerary. Overnight stays are organized in places of attraction and suitable for evening "sittings".

Why with us?

Always ask the organizer if it has the appropriate permits and guarantees, which are an absolute requirement under current law, and legally operating entities are subject to statutory supervision and mandatory registration with CEOTiPUNPUT.

  • At the same time we carry out agency activities for, among others, AXA Ubezpieczenia Towarzystwo Ubezpieczeń i Reasekuracji S.A., we advise and insure your trip, proposing the most convenient variants. In our offer, in addition to the possibility of increasing the sums insured Insurance for Cancellation and Interruption of a Tourist Event At a very attractive price not exceeding 3.5% of the cost of the event.
  • The formula of the trips places very high the needs of cognitive and social tourism , in which riding a motorcycle is not an end in itself, but an enjoyable means of achieving goals. The right balance of emotions from the ride itself in close contact with the environment, impressions of tourist attractions and warm memories of time spent relaxing together in a group is the primary goal.
  • Here motorcycle tourism, not "adventure", so safety first and foremost and high quality at an affordable price. Proven accommodation, rooms with amenities and bathrooms, a place to safely park motorcycles, a mandatory bar/restaurant in the facility, or in close proximity, so that our evenings together pass in a pleasant atmosphere, pleasant smell, local flavor and cool refreshing drinks.
  • We are part of the group, integrating and having fun together with you, vigilantly ensuring safety, smooth execution and only positive impressions. We create conditions for building valuable and lasting relationships, while respecting your privacy.

BOAT -> KUROZWÊKI PALACE

The place where we gather in the forenoon and from which we start our multi-day tour is the vicinity of Lodz by the A1 highway. It is possible to join at another place indicated on our route (the detailed plan of stops on the first day of the expedition will be given to participants shortly before the departure date). On the first day of the expedition the destination is Kurozwêki Palace. The palace in Kurozwêki is one of the few monuments in Poland allowing us to trace the successive changes of styles: from a brick knight's castle, through a defensive mansion, to a baroque-classical residence. The castle was built by the Kurozwêcki family, and then passed successively into the hands of the Lanckoronski, Soltyk and Popiel families. It is not only a hotel facility, but also a tourist attraction with a museum where one can look at the treasures and memorabilia of the Popiel family, along with a gallery of paintings by Jozef Czapski. Scheduled to arrive at the palace around 2 pm, a guided tour of the palace is scheduled for this day, duration about 1.5 hours and Bizon safari 1.5 hours. The day will culminate with an inclusive barbecue dinner, where you will be able to sample buffalo steaks and liquor from a local brewery.

KUROZWĘKI -> BARANÓW SANDOMIERSKI -> ŁAŃCUT -> CHOTYNIEC -> PRZEMYŚL

On the second day we set off from Kurozwêki earlier than usual, maybe at 8:00 am right after an early breakfast in the direction of Baranow Sandomierski. A very intense day. First - the castle in Baranow, due to the fact that it is a three-story building, was built on a rectangular plan, has four round towers in the corners and an inner courtyard surrounded by beautiful two-story cloisters is often called "a small Wawel". While visiting the castle, we will look into the magnate's salons and the Tylman Gallery, where you can admire beautiful Italian panoramas. The next point on the program is a drive to Łańcut and a visit to the largest magnate's residence - the Lubomirski and Potocki castle. It is a unique treasury of art and history, where in addition to aesthetic sensations moving through long corridors we will be able to experience the daily life of the upper classes strolling through the magnates' bedrooms, studies and bath rooms. Free time for lunch is also scheduled in Lancut. After the intensive sightseeing, we are already heading towards Przemyśl, on the way visiting the Orthodox Church in Chotyniec, which, as one of the many treasures of wooden buildings in the region, is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Around 6pm we arrive in Przemyśl, a city like Rome located on seven hills, where we will have dinner and an overnight stay, and for those willing, an evening tour of the Old Town.

PRZEMYŚL -> KRASICZYN -> SANOK -> KAMIENIEC (k. Krosno) -> BÓBRKA

We start the third day with breakfast and at 9 o'clock we take off for the castle in Krasiczyn, the most beautiful monument of the Polish Renaissance. Its construction was started at the end of the 16th century by Stanislaw Krasicki - castellan of Przemysl, and the work was completed by his descendants transforming the austere defensive castle into a magnificent, grandiose residence. Built in the form of a quadrangle, with four cylindrical towers, it impresses with a rectangular, extensive courtyard surrounded by residential wings to the north and east, and curtain walls to the south and west, ending in a beautiful openwork attic. Continuing along the royal route, we will go from Krasiczyn to Sanok, for a short visit to the museum - the royal castle and a longer stop at the Ethnographic Park, where there are collected monuments of rural and wooden architecture of Lemkos, Boykos, Foothillers and the Galician Market moved in its entirety! The open-air museum in Sanok is one of the largest open-air museums in Europe. Free time for rest and lunch is also provided here. The last item on the agenda for the day is a drive through Kamieniec to the Lukasiewicz Museum of Oil and Gas Industry in Bóbrka. This is where the world's first oil mine was established. Two of the first oil mines ("Franek" and "Janina") are still in operation today! Here you will also see what the old drilling rigs or kivons used for oil extraction looked like. You will also visit the Lukasiewicz House with a rich collection of antique oil lamps. Full of impressions, we stay for dinner and overnight in the Bóbrka area.

BÓBRKA -> MAGURA NATIONAL PARK -> KOTAŃ -> OWCZARY -> BOCHNIA

We start the next day after breakfast at 9 o'clock with a drive to Magurski National Park. This is one of the youngest national parks, located on the border of Malopolskie and Podkarpackie provinces in the heart of the Low Beskids. Magurski National Park is not only wildlife in the form of beech or Carpathian sycamore, but also, like any borderland area, a place where many cultures meet and mingle. It is here, driving along the beautiful trails, that we will be able to admire monuments of sacred architecture or, in some villages, original Lemko cottages called chyżs, housing a farm and residential part under a common roof. Further crossing the borders of the provinces, making a short stop in Owczary we will go to the mine in Bochnia, where there will be an opportunity to visit, rest and buy a meal in any configuration. The historic Bochnia salt mine operated from 1251 to 1990; it is a Polish Monument of History and was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2013. The Bochnia mine is the only mine in Poland with an underground boat crossing. The wooden boats navigating the brine-flooded chamber are registered with the Polish Register of Shipping, just like ships sailing the seas. One of the attractions is a ride on the underground train and a ride down the longest 140-meter slide, connecting the 2 levels of the mine. Our fourth day filled to the brim with attractions and rides ends with dinner and an overnight stay in Bochnia.

BOCHNIA -> NIEPOŁOMICE -> ŁÓDŹ

On the last day, after breakfast, we have a group ride to Niepołomice Castle. The Royal Castle in Niepołomice, known as the "second Wawel", was built by order of King Kazimierz the Great on the escarpment of the Vistula River valley. And although it has been rebuilt many times, changing its function and owners, it has remained an architectural gem worth visiting to this day. From Niepołomice we will still move together to our assembly point near Lodz and there we will part, dispersing to our respective cities.
