Introduction

MoroccoKingdom of Morocco - a Muslim country of nearly 37 million people located in northwest Africa with its capital in Rabat, belonging - along with Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Mauritania and Western Sahara - to the Arab Maghreb Union States and not to the African Union States. Bordered to the east by Algeria and to the south by Western Sahara, it is drowned in the waters of the Atlantic Ocean to the west and swamped by the waters of the Mediterranean Sea to the north. Africa underfoot, and to Europe through the Strait of Gibraltar "a stone's throw", which makes the Moroccan identity can not help but be a mixture of Eastern and Western cultures...And it is a mixture - Morocco is a true cultural melting pot of Berber, Arab and European heritage... A country of contrasts and contradictions, colors and gray, poverty and luxury, a country of paradise for the tourist looking for the exoticism of Africa by almost European standards.

An organized, motorcycle tour along the roads of the Kingdom of Morocco, along a paved, cultural route from Tangier to Tangier, via Shafshawan, Fez, Irk asz-Shabbi, Agadir, Marrakesh and Rabat, with a starting and ending point in Malaga, Spain. Organized transportation of motorcycles Poland-Spain-Poland , flight on a low-cost airline to Malaga, hence the trip in a group of 7-10 motorcycles, accompanied by a pilot and at a premium standard at an affordable price. A proposal planned and precisely designed for all those who have already experienced round-trip tourism in the European part, are looking for further challenges, and find themselves in organized travel, spending time in a group and under the care of a pilot. Just over a 12-day vacation in Africa on paved roads, though not ideal....

RABAT MARRAKESZ

PLAN OF THE DAY:

  • 7:00-8:00 breakfast
  • 8:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Check out and leave for sightseeing in the city, or for those willing to chill - time on the beach
  • 14:00 - departure from Rabat and group ride to Marrakech
  • Catering: B/-/-
  • accommodation: Marrakech, or surrounding areas

In the morning we have breakfast, check out at 8:30 a.m. and set off to explore Rabat, the capital of Morocco, in its most beautiful part.

On the schedule are the most important (at least for Moroccans) buildings:

Mausoleum of Mohammed V - The founder of modern statehood in Morocco. His son (and also the father of the current king) Hassan II is also buried next to him. This place is open to everyone, you can easily take pictures here

Opposite the mausoleum Hassan's tower, which offers a beautiful view of the ocean and the city. This is the unfinished minaret of the - now defunct - Hassan Mosque from the 12th century. The construction of the temple (which was intended to accommodate up to 40,000 worshippers, thus making it the second largest mosque in the world) was interrupted by the death of Yakub al-Mansur, the ruler at the time, and the destruction of its remains is a matter of several centuries and several earthquakes.

About a kilometer from the square with the tower is the Kazba Al. Udaja - A fortress built at the same time as the minaret with Hassan's tower, located on the shore of the ocean, on a hard-to-reach hill, surrounded by thick defensive walls for centuries provided shelter for pirates. Kazba served as both a fortress and a settlement where the sultan resided. A walk through the tight and winding streets, amidst lush greenery and countless olive trees is what we want to invite you to. A completely natural extension of the walk can be located nearby Andalusian Gardens, where we will end our walk amidst the greenery of this African oasis.

In the early afternoon, no later than 1:30 p.m., we set off for Morocco's second major city. Marrakech.

In Marrakech accommodation and evening walks around the city, we will visit Jemaa el-Fnaa square in Marrakech -. the very center of the city, a meeting place for locals and tourists alike. It is here that there are hundreds of restaurants and cafes with open rooftops, open 24 hours a day.

Around 6 pm, Jemaa el-Fnaa begins to burst at the seams with tourists and locals. In the square you will see and experience Morocco in its full glory squeezing between food and drink stalls, piles of souvenirs, clothes, snake charmers, monkey trainers, women selling henna for palms, tables with seated tourists and locals.

MARRAKESZ

PLAN OF THE DAY:

  • breakfast by 8:30 a.m.
  • 9:00 a.m. - sightseeing tour of Marrakech for those willing and/or free time
  • Catering: B/-/-
  • accommodation: Marrakech, or surrounding areas

A day in the city of contrasts - Marrakech, a day to freely manage, only partially organized. Today we are sightseeing, with a program of guided walks through the city planned, and for the less cognitively oriented tourist a lot of freedom in planning time, selection of sites and attractions. On the list of recommended for today:

Jemaa el-Fnaa Square - empty during the day, fills up in the evening and is alive with the hustle and bustle of bribers, stallholders, snake charmers, monkey trainers, cafes and restaurants. The place is best visited precisely in the evening.

Koutoubia Mosque - The largest mosque in Marrakech, built in the 12th century. Located near Jemaa el-Fnaa Square, it can only be visited from the outside, and looks best in the evening. It is worth approaching while in the square.

Being in Marrakech and not being in a bazaar is like not being in Morocco. Market Souk, Spice Bazaar (Spice Market), Marrakech's 11th century medina. (UNESCO) -. the oldest part of the city, during the day and late at night, also from near the center, a few hundred meters north of the square. It is impossible not to visit this place. Hundreds of stalls, hustle and bustle, colors and smells of Morocco. Walking through the streets of the market, you can't miss the door to another world - the Le Jardin Secret Garden - A restored 19th century palace complex, later a riad, which houses a small botanical garden, a store with works by local artists and a cafe. Right next to the hustle and bustle, after passing through the gate - peace and quiet. Although there is an entrance fee you should definitely take a look there (fee about 30 dirham).

Jewish Quarter - Right next to the spice bazaar (Spice Market) is the Jewish Quarter, with its Synagogue and Jewish Cemetery. Jews have settled in Morocco since the 14th century, when they were expelled from Spain. In total, more than 35,000 Jews came to Morocco, building their Synagogues. One of the more than 40 Synagogues is located right in the Jewish Quarter in Marrakech. Admission to the Synagogue is paid and costs about 10 dirham.

Lovers of orderly garden forms are invited to the Berber Art Garden and Museum -. Le Jardin Majorelle. The garden was designed in the 1920s by Jacques Majorelle, who lived there for many years with his wife. In the 1980s, the garden was bought by French fashion designers Yves Saint-Laurent and Pierre Bergé, renovated in its entirety, and is now open to the public. An oasis within an oasis you might say.

Bahia Palace - A must see / must be on the tourist map of Marrakech, it is located near the Jewish quarter. The Bahia Palace in Marrakech, built in the 19th century, is a mix of Moroccan and Islamic architecture. Visitors have access to 150 rooms and gardens. The building is one of the most beautiful places in Marrakech. Inside the richly decorated doors, windows, courtyard and simply fabulous garden is the Bahia Palace at a glance. Admission to the palace costs about 70 dirham.

There's also something for crafts lovers and collectors of handmade travel goods. Ensemble Artisanal - chamber of handicrafts, handicrafts market, where you will buy authentic handicrafts.

There is certainly something for everyone. We'll meet in the evening for a joint tea party, where we'll share our raves.

PLAN OF THE DAY:

  • breakfast 7:30 - 8:30

Day organized in the vicinity of Marrakech, 30 km to the south - in the Agafay desert. The first of the two deserts we will visit in the "MAROKO by motorcycle" program.

The Agafay Desert is a hidden gem located a short distance from Marrakech, Morocco. With its mesmerizing landscapes and golden dunes, it provides the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable desert adventure, which we program for you.

It will be a day full of excitement, relaxation and fun - around noon (or rather early afternoon) a substituted car from the hotel will transport us to the Agafay desert. There the real excitement awaits us - about an hour of madness on a quad bike trip through the desert, then an hour on the backs of camels. In the late afternoon, just before sunset, we will finish with dinner in the desert in the amazing atmosphere of the camp.

We will return to the hotel at night.

MARRAKESZ TIZI n'TICHKA pass QUARZAZATE TARMOUCHTE

PLAN OF THE DAY:

  • breakfast 7:30 - 8:30
  • Group ride through the Tizi n'Tichka pass (2260 m)
  • Drive to Quarzazate city, visit Atlas Studio
  • Catering: B/-/-
  • accommodation: Tarmouchte, lub okolice

After days of rather lowland landscapes, it's time for the Atlas! The Atlas is a mountain range in Africa, about 2,000 kilometers long, stretching from the Atlantic coast, near Agadir in Morocco to Little Syria (Kabisa Bay) in Tunisia on the Mediterranean Sea. The highest peak is Jhabal Tubkal (4167 meters above sea level). The simply unearthly views of parts of the so-called High Atlas attract globetrotters precisely to Morocco, and also attract filmmakers.

Today we will cross the extremely picturesque Tizi n'Tichka Pass crossing the Atlas Mountains at an altitude of 2260 meters above sea level, descending down we will reach the town of Quarzazate, where Studio Atlas gathers its open-air locations. Studio Atlas (and nearby CLA studio) located in Warzazata (Ouarzazat) are certainly some of Morocco's greatest cinematic gems. It is a place that attracts visitors to Morocco, mainly because a great many memorable scenes from the history of cinema were shot here, among them: "Game of Thrones„, „Facing Death" (1987) z James Bond, "Gladiator" (2000) with Russel Crowe, "Jesus of Nazareth" (1977), or "The Last Temptation of Christ" (1988) by Martin Scorsese.... With a bit of luck and a good in-between, we will tour the studio.

We will end the day near the Dades Gorge, at the foot of the High Atlas Mountains.

On the road, which winds through the foothills of the High Atlas Mountains, we will visit two incredibly spectacular gorges - DADES and TODRA.

In the evening, sunset in the Sahara and an organized dinner to the rhythms of Tuareg music. To arrive in Merzouga in the evening and leave in the morning is like not being in the Sahara 🙂 , so we stay two nights and organize a day of exploration and entertainment tomorrow.

Chefchaouen in Morocco is perhaps the "most instagrammed place in the world" because of its architecture and color. It seems to be an all-blue town whose charm and popularity are undeniable. Winding and dangerous roads lead to it, and photos taken here win the hearts of Internet users.

In Chefchaouen you will find super views, super atmosphere created by locals pushing almost everything including hash, good food and an almost Spanish atmosphere. It's a straightforwardly perfect place to end our adventure in Morocco. Those who didn't shop yesterday will have one last chance today....

Here we will have our dinner together, the "farewell to Morocco" dinner.
